Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)
Are you a creative and passionate Music Teacher looking for a short-term teaching opportunity?
We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Salford seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music specialist to join their team after the October half-term, covering a full-time timetable until the end of term in December 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engaging classroom practitioner who can inspire students through music, performance, and creativity - ideal for teachers looking to gain further UK experience or for those between long-term contracts.
The Role
- Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 following the national curriculum.
- Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that develop students' skills in performance, composition, and listening.
- Support and encourage student participation in musical activities and performances.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity and confidence.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS (or equivalent overseas teaching qualification).
- Experienced in teaching Music within a UK secondary school setting.
- Confident leading both practical and theory-based lessons.
- Enthusiastic, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
