Physics Teacher - Hounslow

Salary: Outer London MPS/UPS

A high-performing and supportive secondary school in Hounslow is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join its well-resourced Science department from September 2025. This is a full-time position, open to experienced teachers and ECTs, with the flexibility of a permanent appointment or a long-term agency contract.

The school is recognised for its strong academic results, inclusive ethos, and investment in STEM education. Science is a key focus area, and Physics is particularly popular at GCSE and A-Level.


Physics Teacher - Key Responsibilities
* Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available for suitable candidates)
* Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons that foster a deep understanding of Physics
* Promote scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, and real-world application of Physics concepts
* Support individual student progress through effective assessment and feedback
* Contribute to extracurricular STEM initiatives and science-related events

Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics education
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
