Part-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Haringey
Location: Haringey
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 12:30pm (Half-days)
Pay: £65-£75 per day (PAYE)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming primary school in Haringey is looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis.

About the Role:
In this rewarding morning role, you'll be working closely with children in Reception and KS1 with Autism and additional learning needs. You'll support learning and development both within the classroom and through targeted interventions outside the classroom environment. Your focus will be on helping pupils make progress with educational activities tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEND

• Run engaging and structured interventions outside the classroom

• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to support pupil progress

• Help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:
✅ Previous experience working in Reception and KS1
✅ Strong understanding of Autism and other additional needs
✅ Proven experience supporting SEND pupils in a primary school setting
✅ Reliable, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
