Special Needs Teacher - Secondary Autism Provision - Hackney

Looking to make a real difference in a specialist autism setting?

We're seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to work with secondary-aged pupils in autism-specific provisions in Hackney. This role offers immediate supply teaching with the potential for a long-term contract in September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering structured lessons tailored to students with ASD

  • Supporting social communication, emotional regulation, and life skills

  • Collaborating with speech therapists and SENCOs to track progress

  • Managing classroom staff and maintaining a consistent environment

Ideal Candidates:

  • Hold QTS or QTLS
