Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a specialist school in Chorley to appoint a PMLD Teaching Assistant from April 2025. The school caters for primary and secondary aged pupils with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD and PMLD.
The ideal candidate will hold a teaching assistant qualification, previous experience working with personal care and additional needs in a school or SEN setting.
This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year with a competitive salary.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold teaching qualification (desirable)
- Hold previous experience working with individuals who have Special Education Needs
- Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
