💼 Working Hours: Full-time (Mon to Fri - 08:30am to 04:00pm) | Term time only
💰 Pay: MPS 1 to 6 - Inner London - £198.80 to £257.89 per day (PAYE)

About the Role - KS1 Class Teacher

This exciting KS1 Class Teacher role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will take on full class teaching responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing throughout the academic year.

As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Lead a vibrant Key Stage 1 classroom
  • Deliver creative and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum
  • Use your phonics expertise to support early reading and language development
  • Work closely with your year group partner and wider team to share ideas and best practice
  • Contribute to a warm, respectful, and community-driven school culture

What We're Looking For in a KS1 Class Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within KS1 - ideally in a London setting
  • Strong knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
  • A nurturing, adaptable, and committed teaching approach
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative teaching environment
