Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS2)
Location: Primary School, Camden
Start Date: After Easter Holidays
Duration: Until the end of July
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Key Stage 2? A primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to support pupils in KS2 from after Easter until the end of July.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for KS2 pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and differentiated learning activities.

  • Implementing targeted interventions to support academic and social development.

  • Managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies.

  • Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to track pupil progress.

Requirements:

✅ Experience working with KS2 pupils in a UK school setting.
✅ Previous experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
✅ A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
✅ A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable but not essential).
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
