Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Motivate: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons that capture the interest and imagination of Year 6 students, ensuring learning is both fun and effective.
- Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, offering tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teaching staff to monitor student progress, provide feedback, and tackle any challenges that arise.
- Promote Inclusivity: Support students with additional needs, helping create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Classroom Environment: Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and well-organized classroom that supports student learning and development.
- Continuous Development: Take part in training and professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role is beneficial but not essential. A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed is key.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as you'll be working closely with students, teachers, and colleagues.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative spirit is crucial-working as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for students is at the heart of this role.
- Commitment: We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students both academically and personally, helping them achieve their full potential.
