Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: 14th April 2025 (or as soon as possible)

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a small, friendly primary school in Sheffield. This full-time role involves supporting a mixed Key Stage 1 class (Year 1 and Year 2), working closely with the class teacher to enhance children's learning.

Role Responsibilities:

• Delivering Phonics booster sessions and targeted interventions to support children's progress.
• Assisting in the classroom to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting the Key Stage 1 curriculum with confidence.
• Working collaboratively with the established and supportive senior leadership team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in Key Stage 1.
• A TA qualification (Level 2 or above) is preferred.
• Confidence in delivering Phonics and intervention support.
• A positive and nurturing approach to supporting young learners.
