Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (May 2025 - Easter 2026)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Qualification Required: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Year Groups: Mixed Year 1 and Year 2 Class

A welcoming Junior school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time, fixed-term role from May 2025 to Easter 2026, working with a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, ensuring progress for all pupils.

About the Role:

• Teaching a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Planning and assessing in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2).
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of mixed-age learners.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
