About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide tailored academic and emotional support.
- Assist in classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students with additional learning needs, helping them reach their full potential.
- Engage with parents and carers as necessary, promoting a collaborative approach to education.
- Take part in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a university degree in any subject.
- Has a genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
- (Preferred) Has previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
- Must hold a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check registered on the update service.
