About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to provide tailored academic and emotional support.
  • Assist in classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with additional learning needs, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Engage with parents and carers as necessary, promoting a collaborative approach to education.
  • Take part in extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a university degree in any subject.
  • Has a genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
  • (Preferred) Has previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
  • Must hold a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check registered on the update service.
