SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Supporting Primary-aged Pupils (Canterbury)

This full-time role is available for an immediate start. Initially offered as a temporary, long-term position, it has the potential to become a permanent opportunity for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting primary-aged students with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties
- Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and activity delivery
- Helping to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment by assisting with tasks and classroom resources
- Supervising pupils during outings and school trips
- Simplifying instructions, repeating information, and offering personalised guidance to keep students engaged and on track with their learning
