Role - Maths Teacher

Location - Canterbury

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a highly skilled Maths teacher for a good comprehensive school in the Canterbury area. The role is for a January 2025 start until the end of the academic year with the option of permanent from September 2025. The salary is between £31,650 and £49,084 - full time!

The role:

• Deliver high quality Maths lessons to students of varying abilities across KS3 and KS4
• Create dynamic lessons that promote active learning and critical thinking
• Provide individualised support to students to ensure academic success
• Attend Departmental meetings and parents evenings when required

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience as a Maths Teacher in a secondary school environment
• Strong subject knowledge
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
