Are you a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher? Join our thriving community school in St Albans and inspire students to explore and appreciate the past. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the full-time, permanent position of History Teacher, available immediately.

Requirements:

• Qualified History Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching History to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic about education and committed to student success
• Ability to inspire and engage students
• Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5
• Foster a love for learning and curiosity about the past
• Support students in achieving their full potential
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Contribute to the school's inclusive and supportive environment
• Stay up to date with educational developments and attend relevant professional development opportunities
