Graduate Teaching Assistant
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Various Support roles at a well run and cohesive Secondary Academy based in St Albans - Placements to start ASAP or from December until July 2025 and beyond with routes into teacher training on offer for those who excel.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced teachers, providing essential support to deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and cater to each student's development. You might be required to assist students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either one-on-one or in small groups. This role extends beyond academics, enabling you to contribute to students' overall well-being and personal development.
Throughout your placement, expect to receive regular feedback and gain access to professional development resources to enhance your skills and knowledge, courtesy of the National College.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a 2:2 degree in any subject.
- Possess a positive attitude, genuine enthusiasm for working with young people, and a deep passion for education.
- Be adaptable and ready to learn in a diverse educational environment.
- While experience in youth work, tuition, or an educational setting is advantageous, it's not essential.
