The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)
* Foster students' love of literature, language, and critical thinking
* Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Participate in extracurricular activities such as reading clubs and drama performances

Person Specification / Requirements
To succeed, you will:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
* Be confident in teaching a range of texts and writing skills
* Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
* Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
