Tradewind Recruitment are currently hiring on behalf of a successful secondary school in Hillingdon for a General Science Teacher to join their team.
This is a long-term, full-time position starting in September 2025 and running through to July 2026.
Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale applies.

General Science Teacher - Hillingdon, West London

• Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (specialism welcomed but not essential).
• Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and promote a love of science.
• Support students of all abilities to progress through thoughtful planning, effective differentiation, and strong subject knowledge.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive science department that values innovation, high standards, and professional development.
• Contribute to a school culture that promotes academic excellence, respect, and personal growth for all students.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in a science-related subject
• Strong classroom management and subject expertise across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
