Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary, BL3, Bolton

About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic, qualified HLTA to provide a high level of support in a primary school within the BL3 area of Bolton, starting September 2025. You'll support teaching and learning across Key Stages 1 & 2, working flexibly across classes and groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lesson support (whole class, groups, and 1:1)
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment tasks
  • Support pupils with SEND and oversee intervention programmes
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Supervise pupils in classrooms and outdoor/play activities

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4)
  • Proven experience as an HLTA or higher-level TA in primary settings
  • Strong understanding of KS1/KS2 curriculum and SEND strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and classroom management
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and Right to Work in the UK
