Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in a range of primary schools across Islington starting from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified early years practitioners seeking flexible, part-time work, whether you're balancing other commitments or looking to gain experience across a variety of nursery and early years settings.
The Role:
Supporting children in nursery and early years classes
Assisting with daily routines and delivering engaging activities
Promoting learning through play in line with the EYFS curriculum
Working alongside teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
Providing care and support with personal development, social skills, and wellbeing
Requirements:
CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Experience working in a nursery or early years classroom setting
A flexible and proactive approach to working in different schools
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
