Seeking a Passionate Teacher for Alternative Provision
Are you a dedicated and resilient teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We work with several well-established alternative provision settings, we are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate teachers to join our supportive team.
About the Role:
As a Teacher in an Alternative Provision, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students who have faced challenges in mainstream education. You'll be working with small groups or 1:1, delivering a tailored curriculum that supports both academic progress and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects
Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs
Build positive relationships and provide a safe, nurturing environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working in alternative provision, PRUs, or SEN settings is highly desirable
Strong behaviour management and excellent interpersonal skills
A calm, adaptable approach with a genuine passion for inclusive education
