Secondary Art teacher required for September 2025
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term
Salary: Paid in line with the Main Pay Scale for London Fringe - £33,000 to £50,000 per annum for qualified teachers, depending on experience.
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4 (might also suit an experienced Primary or Unqualified teacher).
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to teach Art in a supportive and student-focused alternative provision. The school provides a nurturing environment for young people who have found mainstream education challenging. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact, using creative approaches to engage students and encourage expression through Art.
We're looking for someone who:
Holds QTS, QTLS, or equivalent - however, the school will also consider an unqualified teacher with relevant experience working with young people in education or support settings
- Has experience working with students with SEMH needs, or a willingness to learn quickly
- Brings energy, creativity, and patience to the classroom
- Can plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that inspire and support student development
- Is committed to helping young people re-engage with education and achieve success
