1:1 SEN Support Assistants - Barking & Dagenham

Location: Barking & Dagenham Borough
Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for experienced 1:1 SEN Support Assistants to work with pupils who require personalised support across a range of educational settings in Barking & Dagenham. These pupils may have autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Role Details:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support based on a pupil's EHCP
- Helping to manage sensory, emotional, and academic needs
- Tracking progress and adjusting strategies in collaboration with SEN teams
- Offering encouragement, patience, and structure every day
What We're Looking For:
- Candidates with experience delivering targeted SEN support
- Strong relationship-building and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to long-term development for the pupil and school
