KS2 Teachers Wanted - Tameside Local Authority
Full-Time | Part-Time | Ad-Hoc | Start September 2025
Are you a passionate and committed Key Stage 2 teacher seeking a new opportunity? Tradewind are recruiting KS2 teachers to support a range of primary schools based in the Tameside Local Authority for the 2025/26 academic year, starting in September 2025. Positions are available on a full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc/supply basis.

Our KS2 teaching roles vary from adhoc, to part-time/full-time class responsibilities. As a result, responsibilities can differ. Below highlights some of the key elements of teaching you could be responsible for"
- Planing and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons based on KS2 curriculum standards
- Reviewing existing plans and delivering lesson contact in an engaging way, ensuring pupils make positive progess towards achieving the lesson objectives
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment based on trust and mutual respect
- Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams to support pupil achievement and wellbeing
- Adapt to different school cultures and teaching approaches, gaining valuable experience along the way.
To work in our schools in the Tameside Local Authority you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have strong KS2 curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills
- Be adaptable, reliable, and a motivated professional
- Be an individual who thrives in varied and dynamic school environments
