    * Work closely with class teachers and support staff to deliver individual education plans (IEPs) and appropriate interventions.
    * Collaborate with external agencies to provide support for students with more complex needs.
    * Monitor the progress of SEN students, ensuring they are making appropriate academic and personal progress.
    * Support teachers and staff by providing advice and training on SEN strategies, promoting an inclusive approach across the school.
    * Manage the SEN budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for maximum impact.
    * Maintain a strong partnership with parents to ensure they are well informed and supported in their child's educational journey.

    The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a SENCO qualification.
    * Previous experience as a SENCO, or in a role with significant experience in managing SEN provision.
    * A strong understanding of SEN strategies and experience working with students with a range of special educational needs.
    * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
    * Able to manage a small team and offer guidance and support to other staff members.
    * Passionate about providing an inclusive education and making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs.

    What the School Offers:
    * A part-time position (2-3 days a week), offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to work in an inclusive and supportive environment.
    * A welcoming school community that is committed to meeting the needs of all learners.
    * Supportive leadership and colleagues who are passionate about improving outcomes for all students.
    * A well-resourced school that prioritizes professional development and offers training opportunities.
    * Competitive pay, in line with experience and qualifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SENCO to make a positive impact in a school that values inclusivity, while benefiting from the flexibility of a part-time role.
