Cover Supervisor - Nottingham

We're working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Nottingham who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join them immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the classroom, support young learners, and take your first step into the world of teaching.

The Role:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of a teacher, following pre-set lesson plans.
  • Manage classroom behaviour, keeping students focused and engaged.
  • Support students' learning, answering questions and helping with tasks.
  • Report on student progress and any issues to school staff.
  • Be a positive presence in the school community.

What We're Looking For:

  • Confident communicators who can lead a classroom.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to different school environments.
  • Interest in working with young people and making a positive impact.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is helpful, but not essential.

Requirements:

  • A CV covering your full employment history.
  • Strong references to support your application.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
