Chemistry Teacher - Maternity Cover - Hillingdon, London

A prestigious independent secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a talented and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their vibrant team for a maternity cover position starting in September 2025. This role will run until July 2026.

About the Role: This is a full-time position, but the school is open to part-time applicants as well. The working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm, with the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. The salary will be based on the outer London MPS/UPS scale.

The school has excellent parking facilities for staff and is easily accessible for commuting.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team
