Are you an experienced Year 5/6 Teacher looking for a rewarding short-term role? A welcoming primary school in Merton is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team from April 2025 to July 2025.
Role Details:
📍 Location: Merton
📅 Contract: April 2025 - July 2025 (Maternity Cover)
💰 Daily Pay: £198.80 - £257.89 per day (depending on experience)
🏫 Key Stage: Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6)
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 5/6 Teacher who can support pupils through this important stage in their education. You will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
✅ Prepare Year 6 pupils for their SATs exams while supporting Year 5 progression
✅ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil success
About You:
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
✔️ Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6)
✔️ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✔️ Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities
