Are you looking to gain School experience before teacher training? Perhaps you're considering if a role in education is for you? We are working with a popular and vibrant secondary School in Hemel Hempstead to provide Cover supervisors on a temporary to permanent basis.
Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Start Date: Easter 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of teachers, creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Follow lesson plans provided and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Support students in their learning journey and respond to any questions they may have.
- Keep accurate attendance records and communicate any concerns to the appropriate staff.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in managing classroom dynamics and maintaining student engagement.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for making a meaningful impact on students' educational experience.
