Full-Time Teacher of Art - Immediate Start

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Art to join our team at a secondary school in Chesterfield. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to inspire creativity and develop students' artistic skills in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Art, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across various year groups, from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4. You will have the chance to nurture students' creativity, inspire their artistic expression, and help them achieve their full potential in Art.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective Art lessons to students
  • Creating and implementing exciting curriculum plans
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participating in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Ideal Candidates:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Art
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in their creative studies
  • Experience in teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4 is desirable but not essential
