Job Description
Tradewind are working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Brent who are looking for Behaviour Mentors to support young adults at risk of permanent exclusion.
You will need to have experience supporting children and young adults with challenging behaviour (SEMH) and/or experience in a similar educational setting.
Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Brent, North-West London
Pay: £90 - £125 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Start Date: Immediate Start
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH in small group and 1:1 setting.
- Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
- Provide emotional and academic support to students.
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to senior staff.
What is a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)?
- A PRU is an alternative education provision for students who cannot attend mainstream schools due to behavioural, emotional, or mental health issues.
