Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic mainstream primary school in Hackney. This role involves providing small group intervention support in phonics and maths, helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:

• Deliver targeted phonics and maths intervention sessions to small groups of children
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning objectives
• Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet the needs of each child
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Support children in developing confidence and key skills in literacy and numeracy

Requirements:

✅ Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
✅ Strong understanding of phonics and early maths development
✅ Ability to engage and motivate children in small group settings
✅ A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
