A small, two-form entry primary school in Worksop is seeking a committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis from 24th April 2025, covering a maternity leave for one year.

About the Role:

• Teaching a Year 2 class, delivering the full KS1 curriculum
• Planning, marking, and assessment in line with national and school expectations
• Attending staff meetings, training, and school events throughout the academic year
• Collaborating with a parallel Year 2 teacher for joint planning and shared resources

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
• Strong understanding of phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development
• Commitment to engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress
• Ability to work collaboratively within a two-form entry structure
