SEN Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time SEN Teacher based in Hull, starting as soon as possible and lasting until at least Easter but potentially for longer. This is a temporary position to cover a period of absence, so the exact length of absence is difficult to determine. Payment for this position will be between £140 and £180 per day, as no planning and marking are expected for this cover period. This is a full time position, but we will be interested in applications from part time applicants as the potential for job share is available.
This role will involve teaching in the mainstream secondary schools SEND unit, working with small groups, with the support of specialist TAs, to teach the 'primary model' and teach a number of different subjects pair day. These lessons will be pre planned, so the focus will be on the strong delivery of content, and working with these students to provide specialist support. Applications from primary teachers will be appreciated for this role, as well as specialist secondary or SEND teachers.
Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from different parts of Hull via Bus, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who drive. The school is part of a small, local academy chain that has a fantastic reputation in the local area. The school is the heart of the community, and is extremely passionate about their provision to SEND students. - Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience teaching in SEND settings
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the full CV History
- Legal right to work in the UK
