Year 5 Teacher

Hillingdon (Uxbridge)

£195- £248 per day

SANZA Teaching Agency are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity as a short-term year 5 teacher at a vibrant, 4- form entry school located in Hillingdon.

The role is full-time and starts 2nd June.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

  • Onsite parking and is located close to the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines
  • The School has developed an innovative approach to Teaching for Mastery in Mathematics and has links with the NCETM Maths Hub.

  • Modified marking arrangements - they don't expect teachers to spend all of their time marking books. Teachers are skilled in providing feedback during the lessons, where it has most impact.
  • Whole year group PPA together to plan collaboratively
  • All classes have a Learning Support Assistant. We also have a resource assistant in the school who will undertake photocopying and other tasks so that you and your LSA can focus on the pupils. 
  • Increased time for PPA at the times when it is most needed.
  • Dedicated leadership time for Year Leaders and subject coordinators. 

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Previous experience as a year 5 teacher is preferred, but other experience in KS2 is fine
  • A dynamic and engaging teaching style
  • A growth mindset and commitment to your own professional development
