Psychology Teacher - Independent School
Tradewind recruitment are working with an outstanding independent secondary school based in Hillingdon who are currently looking for a Psychology teacher.
School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025. School are willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person.
This position is a full time position. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will depend on your experience.
School has available parking spaces.
Psychology Teacher :
- Offer strong teacher subject and pedagogical knowledge.
- Engage in helping students develop knowledge of psychology
- Enable life-long skill development and practical skill application
- Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe environment, while challenging students to reach their full potential
- Embrace and support the ethos of both boarding and day school life
School:
A leading independent day school for over 1150 girls aged 3-18 and is a member of the Girls' Schools Association (GSA)
4 minutes walk from underground station
Approximately 30 minutes by underground from Central London on the Metropolitan Line
Parking available
Salary depends on experience
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable and encouraging
