Key Responsibilities
- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students to boost their learning and confidence.
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials.
- Helping manage classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary.
- Acting as a positive role model and building strong, supportive relationships with students.
Requirements
- A degree (any discipline).
- A genuine interest in education and working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous child-based experience is preferred but not essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
