Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students to boost their learning and confidence.
  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials.
  • Helping manage classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary.
  • Acting as a positive role model and building strong, supportive relationships with students.

Requirements

  • A degree (any discipline).
  • A genuine interest in education and working with young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous child-based experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
