Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Business and Computing education
  • Proven experience as Head of Department, including curriculum development and team management
  • Passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff
  • Commitment to raising student achievement and developing innovative teaching practices

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business and Computing lessons to students, fostering engagement and academic excellence
  • Lead the department, supporting team members and driving forward curriculum improvements
  • Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with school leadership and staff to support school-wide initiatives and promote a cohesive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support as needed
