Job Opportunity: Year 1 Teacher


Location: Croydon

Start Date: January 2025

Full-Time: 5 Days a Week

Salary: £36,412 - £48,531

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Croydon. Starting in January, this full-time position will run until July, with the potential for extension beyond the summer term.

Role Details:

  • Position: Year 1 Class Teacher

  • Salary: £36,412 - £48,531
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to support individual growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child's needs are met

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience with Key Stage 2
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to inspiring young learners
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive, patient approach
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team
