Geography Teacher
An outstanding Ofsted rated secondary school in Kensington are currently looking for a Geography Teacher.
The school are looking for someone who can start in January 2025 and commit until July 2025 with the possibility of continuing in the next academic year or transferring permanently.
This position is full time, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS.

Geography Teacher is expected to:
- be able to deliver highly focused lesson design with sharp learning objectives
- excellent ICT skills
- teach GCSE and A Level Geography
- be able to fuse science and the humanities with technical understanding and a sodio-economic awareness of the global issues
- encourage scientific approach to questioning and analysis
- accompany students to fieldtrips including destinations such as the Dorset Coastline and visits to the Olympic redevelopment in East London.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Proven experience teaching Geography
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
