Learning Support Assistant - Thanet
Full-time - Monday to Friday
£83.33 per day

As a Teaching Assistant at this exceptional special needs school, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment dedicated to providing high-quality education and care to children and young people aged 2-19 with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with profound, severe, and complex learning difficulties, including ASD, in their daily activities and learning.
- Assisting with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the comfort and well-being of students.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

Requirements:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) preferred.
- Ability to provide personal care assistance, including toileting and feeding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and resilience.
- Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and obtain necessary clearances.
- Hold an enhanced child -only DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one
