Job Vacancy: Teaching Assistant (SEN Department) - Secondary School, Swinton
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our SEN department, working with KS3 and KS4 students at a vibrant secondary school in Swinton.
Role Overview:
- Position: Teaching Assistant (SEN)
- Location: Secondary School, Swinton
- Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
- Department: SEN (Special Educational Needs)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Working Hours: 8am - 4pm (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: Up to £100 per day
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within the UK school system is essential.
- Ideally, experience working in a secondary school environment.
- Ability to support students with varying learning needs and provide a nurturing learning atmosphere.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A patient, compassionate approach with a focus on student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting SEN students in both group settings and on a one-to-one basis.
- Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning plans.
- Helping students achieve their individual learning goals.
- Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure high-quality support.
