Role - Teacher of English

Location - Dover

Start Date - January - July 2025 - Full Time

Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are actively working with a good secondary school in the Dover area who are looking for a motivated and passionate Teacher of English. The role is teaching across KS3 and KS4 so someone with suitable experience in these areas is essential.

The role:

  • Plan and deliver creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide relevant support where needed
  • Attend both departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required
  • Liaise and work closely with others in the English Department to ensure consistency

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a Teacher of English across KS3 and KS4 year groups
  • Excellent behaviour management skills to ensure students achieve the best outcomes in each lesson
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
