Requirements:
- Previous child-based experience.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Genuine passion for working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Help students overcome barriers to learning and promote inclusion within the classroom.
- Support students with their academic progress, including homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and personal development.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to ensure the best support for students..
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents/guardians as required.
